I remember the time when the iconic Bollywood film “Qurbani” was released, and everyone was raving about Zeenat Aman’s stunning performance. Despite being underage at the time, my two friends and I were determined to watch the movie. We were a bit worried about getting caught by the ticket checker, so we hatched a plan. I put on a pair of high heel shoes and stood in the center, while my friends flanked me on either side to keep the ticket checker occupied.
To our relief, we were able to enter the theater without any issues, and we settled down to watch the movie with bated breath. As the movie progressed, we found ourselves completely swept away by the electrifying performances and the gripping storyline. The songs “Aap Jaisa Koi” and “Laila O Laila” had us grooving in our seats, and Zeenat Aman’s enchanting presence on the screen had us utterly mesmerized.
We didn’t even leave our seats during the interval, such was our captivation by the movie. Overall, it was a thrilling experience to watch Qurbani and witness Zeenat Aman’s iconic performance up close. Looking back on it now, I’m grateful that we took the risk to watch the movie, and I still find myself humming the tunes of those unforgettable songs to this day. – @iambollywoodbaba
