Amazon Prime Video has recently released the trailer for the upcoming spy-thriller series ‘Citadel’, which stars Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden as elite agents of the eponymous global spy agency tasked with upholding the safety and security of all people. However, their agency is destroyed by the powerful Manticore syndicate, resulting in the wiping of their memories and building of new lives under new identities. That is until Mason Kane is tracked down by his former Citadel colleague, Bernard Orlick, who needs his help to prevent Manticore from establishing a new world order. Along with his former partner Nadia Sinh, played by Chopra Jonas, they embark on a dangerous mission around the world, all while contending with a complicated relationship built on secrets, lies, and an undying love.
The series consists of six episodes, with the first two premiering on April 28 on Amazon Prime Video, followed by weekly releases until May 26. Produced by the Russo Brothers’ AGBO and showrunner David Weil, the series also stars Stanley Tucci and Lesley Manville. ‘Citadel’ will premiere in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
